Göttingen is situated on the "German Fairytale Route " and the BROTHERS GRIMM were professors at Göttingen university. Here they collected a lot of their stories and they imagined places around Göttingen as the set for the fairy tales, e.g. the "Sababurg" is only a few kilometers from Göttingen and it is said that this is the castle of "The sleeping Beauty".
The 2 weeks course will be a general German language course but we will read several fairy tales, we will talk about the sociological and psychological background of the fairy tales and we will get to know something of the lives of Brothers Grimm and their political commitment as part of the "Göttinger Seven". But of course we will also acknowledge other writers.
At least once a week we will have an excursion to one of the places the stories talk about. These excursions are included in the course price.

- Levels: B1
- Timetable: Monday to Friday / 09.00 - 12.30 h
- Lessons: 4 lessons of 45 min. per day
- Group size: 3 - 8 students
- Minimum age: 16
The price of the Intensive German course includes:
