The Intensive English course aims to improve students’ competence in all aspects of English. It is divided into two parts: the first two hours of each day is a core language course which provides a graded introduction to grammar and vocabulary set in contexts that draw on the students' own experience. This makes the language more relevant to them.

The second half of the English course provides practice in the four main skills of the language: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Not only do students learn to recognise English as it is spoke worldwide in a variety of accents, but they also learn the skill of good listening which is imparted to them by our staff of professional and highly-experienced teachers. Enabling the students to speak English well and use the language with ease is the primary objective of our teaching.

The third and final class of the day is 2 hours, conversation class in small groups allowing students to practise their general English skills.

Starting dates for Intensive English courses in 2008

Students can register to start on the first Monday of every month (May to October).

Details of the Intensive English Course

• Nº of classes: 30 hours per week
• Levels: From Elementary to Advanced
• Timetable: Monday to Thursday: 09.00 h to 15.00 h / Friday: 09.00 to 12.30 h
• Nº of Students per class: max. 10 students; average of 8 students
• Minimum age: 17 years

The price of the English course includes:
Pre course assessment, English lessons, course materials, FREE social programme, end of course certificate, teachers report, free internet access/WIFI, tea and coffee, online learning classes before and after your English course.
